This Privacy Policy describes how Burn Time ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Burn Time iOS application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Burn Time is designed with privacy as a priority. The App stores all user data — including your name, cigarettes saved count, money saved, and relapse count — locally on your device using Apple's standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our servers.

IN-APP PURCHASES

The App offers an optional in-app purchase (the "Relapse Fee") processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. When you make a purchase:

All payment processing is handled by Apple — we never see or store your payment information
Apple may collect information as described in their Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy
We receive confirmation from Apple that a purchase was completed, but no payment details

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

Your first name (entered at login)
Number of cigarettes saved
Number of relapses recorded
Money saved calculations

This data is stored using Apple's UserDefaults and remains entirely on your device. Deleting the App removes all data permanently.

ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

Burn Time does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your behavior, location, or usage patterns.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 12. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 12.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
